Readers may have noticed that the target on JustGiving has recently been raised to £4000. This is due to the simply overwhelming support that Alex, myself and family have received ever since we have began planning for this bike ride. There are those of you who have thought that we needed to aim higher still, and I agree, so lets keep that momentum going and smash this new target of £4000. Back at Christmas when Alex and I were planning on riding for Parkinson's we never managed to have raised such a massive amount of money. We still have a month and a half to go, so allow me to say a big big thank you on behalf of the Parsons family to all those who have offered support and that have donated.

I am Stuart Parsons, and together with my brother Alex, we will ride from John O'Groats, the most northerly point of mainland Scotland, to Lands End in south west England. Riding from Sunday the 29th of April to Sunday the 13th of May we will cover more than 1000 miles under our own steam; all in aid of Parkinson's!
